A wheel loader, cement mixer, excavator, bulldozer, dump truck and mobile crane: each Constructicon has a distinct industrial identity. Their shared green bodies and purple details unite the lineup, while every machine contributes a different part of Devastator.

Scrapper

Leader · Wheel Loader

Scrapper leads the Constructicons and transforms into a wheel loader. His broad bucket and compact green body give him the unmistakable silhouette of a construction machine.

For the combined form, the loader turns into Devastator’s right leg. The bucket and robot arms provide three points of support, turning a familiar work vehicle into a surprisingly stable foundation.

Mixmaster

Materials Fabrication · Cement Mixer

Mixmaster transforms into a cement mixer truck. The cab, mixing drum and rear chassis create one of the most recognizable vehicle profiles in the team.

As Devastator’s left leg, the truck cab becomes the foot while the drum gives the upper leg its rounded shape. Its structure differs completely from Scrapper’s, yet the two legs balance each other remarkably well.

Scavenger

Mining & Salvage · Excavator

Scavenger transforms into a tracked excavator, with a long articulated digging arm above a compact crawler chassis. In robot mode, the tracks become his legs.

In combination, the excavator forms Devastator’s right arm. The long boom remains a distinctive part of the silhouette, while the purple forearm and fist extend the construction vehicle into a powerful limb.

Bonecrusher

Demolitions · Bulldozer

Bonecrusher’s bulldozer mode pairs a broad front blade with a sturdy tracked chassis. In robot form, the tracks become his legs, preserving the heavy, practical character of the machine.

He forms Devastator’s left arm. With a tracked vehicle on each side, the combined robot gains a balanced upper-body silhouette even though the two machines transform in different ways.

Long Haul

Transport · Dump Truck

Long Haul transforms into a dump truck, with a wide body and a deep load bed. His solid proportions suit the heavy transport role of his vehicle mode.

For Devastator, that broad truck body becomes the waist and hips. Positioned between Hook and the two leg components, Long Haul connects the upper and lower body and gives the combination its essential central support.

Hook

Precision Engineering · Mobile Crane

Hook transforms into a mobile crane, distinguished by its long boom and low, elongated chassis. His vehicle mode brings a different sense of scale and precision to the six-machine lineup.

During combination, the crane body folds across Devastator’s upper torso. Above Long Haul’s waist section, it links the arms and supports the head, completing the giant’s broad-shouldered silhouette.

Toy Documentary · The Story

From six machines to Devastator

In the G1 cartoon episode “Heavy Metal War,” the Constructicons brought an extraordinary new threat to the Autobots: six separate robots joining together as Devastator. Their combination turned an entire construction team into a single towering opponent.

The toys tell that story through their engineering. Tracks become robot legs, a truck cab becomes a foot, and a crane folds into a chest. Seen one transformation at a time, Devastator is both a powerful character and a clever puzzle built from six familiar machines.
